David (Paul Campbell) is a player that knows all the tricks about dating, so when he sees how his grandpa Joe (Andy Griffith) is doing, he decides to lend a hand. He quickly turns his grandpa into a regular ladies man of retirees, but David is actually having problems of his own. He wants to win over a girl named Julie (Marla Sokoloff) but none of his dating insight is working for him. It's time for Grandpa Joe to give Dave some lessons.
