|
Scotland Yard and its Chief Inspector (Reginald Denny) in gaslight London finds itself facing two horrors: a monstrous Mr. Hyde (Boris Karloff) and two American detectives named Slim (Bud Abbott) and Tubby (Lou Costello). The two detectives join with American journalist Bruce Adams (Craig Stevens) to uncover the real identity of the dangerous murderer. Tubby and Slim follow the clues to Dr. Henry Jekyll (Boris Karloff), but the unfortunate Tubby also manages to take the serum Jekyll has created, making for two monsters around town, terrorizing Suffragettes. Dr. Jekyll finds Tubby a perfect foil and patsy for the crimes and takes an odd liking to him. |
